Years ago I was considering going into the mission field and was exploring my options.  I needed to support myself with flexibility and my brother offered me the opportunity to help his high rise window cleaners.  I would spend most of the day on the roofs of high rise buildings helping move equipment every one – two minutes.  With nothing else to do in between, I saw some scrap wire for lightning rod systems laying around.  I would unbraid it and then weave it into various shapes like hearts, chairs, etc.  That creative outlet led me to start a costume jewelry business called Rooftop Designs.

I sold my jewelry in various gift shops around Austin, TX until going into missions with Mercy Ships.  I met my husband while working with Mercy Ships, we married, had three kids (now adults) that I homeschooled and found my creative outlet in photography.
